Blog # 08: Technical And Creative_ Transdisciplinary Training

Throughout the graphic design major project, I tried to develop a variety of skills.

Research Process Training:

First of all, I have to mention our tutor Sarah who constantly trained us on the research process and gave us instructions on completing the entire task. Without her instructions, it would have been very difficult for me to complete the entire recharge process. So, of course, I thank you very much for your response.

Laser Cutting Induction:

Sarah basically helped a lot with developing different skills, she arranged a laser cutting induction with Simon which I learned and I tried to apply it to my branding and hopefully, I got the desired results. I have been able to apply laser cutting to my own work by developing this skill that can be used in branding in graphic design.

3D Printing:

I got my initial induction into 3D printing from Simon and Austin helped me with all the printing in the later stages. Who gave me instructions on what I needed to make my 3D file suitable for printing. I prepared the STL file accordingly and Austin was very helpful in completing the entire printing process.

Dye Sublimation Printing:

Next, I want to talk about the dye sublimation printing that I applied on the t-shirt. Laura helped me with the induction and gave me instructions on how to complete the printing. Accordingly, I worked and successfully used it for branding by printing my logo on t-shirts.

Publishing Training:

Then in the case of publishing induction

I completed the entire process including business card printing and setter cutting. In fact, there is a different kind of joy in doing things yourself. Which I enjoyed very nicely through business card printing and cutting.

Photography Training:

Photography is very important as part of branding, where I learned about the induction of lighting and the use of a camera and studio use. Simon trained me in photography.
